DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES /SAFEGUARDING OFFICER

The Director of Human Resources / Safeguarding is responsible to draw and implement executive and administrative procedures to ensure both the benefit of the employees and volunteers of the Irida Women’s Center and a smooth working environment. Τhe Director of Human Resources and Safeguarding is the focal point of the organization regarding safeguarding policies for staff members, volunteers, and beneficiaries.

Starting Day: Immediately

Ηοurs of Work: 8 hours per day / 5 days per week

Salary: 1200€ (net salary)

Office Hours: 9.30 – 17.30

JOB DUTIES:

  • Create and publish work opportunities assessing the needs of the organization and ensuring a transparent, fair, and safe recruiting process for the new employees.
  • Manage internal changes concerning the staff members.
  • Evaluate and recruit volunteers who are interested in joining the team considering the current needs of the organization.
  • Provide employees with support and assistance regarding issues related to the Work Law.
  • Design and implement performance management evaluating the staff annually.
  • Manage and resolve potential conflicts among the employees of Irida Women’s Center, dealing with complaints or other issues.
  • Keep track of employees’ leaves and overtime.
  • Maintain a record of salaries and employer contributions.
  • Preserve an up-to-date record of staff members and volunteers.
  • Ensure that employees’ contracts align with the internal policies and procedures of the organization and the Greek legislation.
  • In charge of the bureaucratic procedures concerning the recruitment of interns.
  • Cultivate a safe, positive, and trusting working environment.
  • Review the safeguarding policy annually and update it, when required.
  • Cooperate with staff members and volunteers to ensure the universal implementation of the safeguarding policy and its procedures, with no exceptions. The Director of HR/Safeguarding is the focal point for all team members – employees and volunteers – in case they want to report an incident of violation of our safeguarding policies.
  • Examine the safeguarding reports of the team members.
  • Coordinate along with the Head of Protection the induction course of new staff members and volunteers.
  • Support with the training of employees and volunteers.
  • Maintain safely an up-to-date record of incidents reports and complaints.
